In this project the SDA of Daman has performed a detailed survey of wattage, KWh consumption and lumens of all the street lights along the coastal Highway. In the figure below coastal highway with street light numbers are shown. There are total 261 no. of street lights with numbering stated from south to towards north. Each pole in the highway is of same structure and has two lights one on west and other on east side facing.
Following a detailed survey along with GIS mapping, replacement of conventional street lights with LED bulbs was done for all the street lights along the coastal Highway.
